FOCUS needs your help! We have a lot going on between events, information, and just fun stuff to share that the world needs to see, but hey Lancaster/Depew NY will work just fine as well. 

• Do you have a passion for TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook?
• Do you love sharing positive memes or love to research topics that have to do with the problems facing teens and like to share that information?

Seeking someone ages 13-?, who knows how to post, share, and promote social media page and create content.

We would prefer a teen in Lancaster/Depew NY ages 13-18, but welcome compassionate adults for the empowerment of our local youth. 

FOCUS provides 4 events per year:

• Spring Community Impact Conference
• GLOFEST Music Fest
• Fall Community Impact Conference
• Winter Community Impact Awards Ceremony

Are you the party planner in the family or at work?

Do you like to rally the troops to come an event that you put on?

Are you a good multi-tasker and know how to delegate?

Are you responsible with your time and can meet deadlines?

Do you know a lot of people in the community who can help?

Are you between the ages of 13-????

Seeking local residents of WNY, teens and adults to help us plan out our events for the year. Make phone calls to venues to get pricing. Market to local businesses and find sponsors or provide donations of supplies needed. Gather vendors for potential partnerships. Recruit and manage event volunteers.

FOCUS has a lot of paperwork, filing, organizing, flyers to print and invitations to send out for our events.

• Are you between the ages of 13-??
• Are you good at organizing, filing? 
• Are you a details oriented type person?
• Are you comfortable making phone calls?
• Do you work well with deadlines and goals?

Seeking local residents of WNY, teens and adults to help us tie up the loose ends with all the events we do and assist the Business Administrator in the day to day tasks needed.

Our office is located at the Depew-Lancaster Boys & Girls Club, located at 60 Preston St, Depew, NY 14043.

Some assistance will be on site, other duties can be done remote.

FOCUS has become a local resource and partner to many businesses, nonprofits, organizations, govt, law enforcement and schools.  Our name is respected and we've had tons of press over the years on TV and Print yet, there are still people in the community who don't know who we are.

• Are you between the ages of 13-??
• Do you like talking to people?
• Are you always out and about making new connections?
• Do you have experience setting up trade show booths or vendor tables at business conferences, or community events?
• Are you a good public speaker?
• Do you know how to do an elevator pitch? A 30 second to 1 minute intro on who you are, the organization you represent, and what you do?
• Are you a natural connector of people? 

FOCUS is always looking for opportunities to be present at large organizations, nonprofits, or business networking events to have an informational vendor table and to tell their story to others. Looking for someone to be that Brand Ambassador for FOCUS to represent us at community events and to find events to participate in.
